Commercial Lending Assistant

BankCherokee is looking for someone interested in joining our recently expanded loan production team as a member of the Loan Servicing Department. We are considering candidates with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Commercial Lending Assistant. Loan documentation, booking, imaging, and related tech systems experience is required; knowledge in SBA lending and FiServ systems are a plus. Bachelor’s degree and additional coursework preferred. Ideal candidates prefer being a part of the entire process – prospect to closed loan – and have strengths in supporting commercial lenders and customers, teamwork, initiative, problem solving, accuracy, and flexibility.

Job Summary
Key responsibilities include commercial lender support and sales assistance, customer service, loan documentation, loan booking and collateral administration, and assisting with portfolio management.
