BankCherokee is looking for an experienced credit analyst that is interested in joining our loan production team as a member of the Credit Department. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years commercial credit analyst experience in a community bank setting. Ideal candidates have been in the analyst role long enough to know they like it and are good at it – and are looking to expand your contribution and skill set; have a relentless pursuit of exceptionalism, a great attitude, high integrity, and are inquisitive by nature with strengths in accuracy, customer service, collaboration, digital proficiency, big picture understanding, and role leadership.
Job Summary
Key responsibilities include partnering with the commercial team, credit analysis and underwriting, credit presentation preparation, collateral analysis, and various credit related projects. BankCherokee’s analysts also have the opportunity and are encouraged to develop specialty skills aligning to their personal strengths and interests. This is a full-time role on the Credit Department Team at the Smith Avenue Branch, with some flexibility for hybrid remote/onsite work once established. We offer competitive compensation and benefits; the role is market priced based on length and type of credit analyst experience.
