2022 Community Impact Month
Various LocationsLaunched by the Minnesota Bankers Association, Community Impact Month helps showcase the crucial roles bankers play in their communities all year long and spotlight volunteer opportunities statewide, both of which help forge strong local communities.

Drive-Thru Shred Event at our North Oaks Location – Saturday, Sept. 10th in North Oaks: 999 Village Center Drive 9:30 am-noon! BankCherokee combines a morning of free document-shredding with a cash and food collection event to benefit Neighborhood House Food Shelf, Ralph Reeder and FINNEGANS Reverse Food Truck. NOTE, this event will be Drive-Thru Only, we will help collect your shredding & donations!
Douglas Park Fall Clean Up – Thursday, Sept. 15th, Staff will remove litter and weed the playground area as well as getting a jump on fall clean-up. The City of Saint Paul has over 170 parks and BankCherokee is the steward of Douglas Park which is located just 2 blocks east or our Smith Avenue location. We are proud to be the caretakers of this charming little park that is right in our neighborhood.
Salvation Army on West 7th Street – Friday, Sept. 23rd, Food Sorting, Distribution, and Clean-up. Our staff will be covering two shifts one in the morning & one in the afternoon. This Salvation Army location serves the West 7th Street neighborhood of St. Paul. Call 651-224-4316 to learn more or request help.
Keystone Community Services In-Branch Project 1 – Staff will be assembling Laundry Kits including soap and dryer sheets that will be distributed to those in need within the communities Keystone serves. More on Keystone Community Services.
