BankCherokee Adds Two Commercial Banking Leaders as Twin Cities Growth Continues
Tom Sanvick and Jeff Hable join BankCherokee as Senior Vice President Market Leads focused on North and West Metro growth
BankCherokee is expanding its commercial lending team with the addition of two experienced leaders who will spearhead growth and relationship-building efforts in key Twin Cities markets.
Tom Sanvick joins as Senior Vice President Market Lead and Commercial Lender, focusing on North Oaks and surrounding North Metro communities. Jeff Hable joins in the same role, with a focus on the West Metro.
The new Market Lead positions reflect BankCherokee’s continued investment in experienced local leadership as the company looks to deepen relationships with businesses and expand its presence throughout the Twin Cities.

Tom Sanvick to Lead North Metro Growth
For more than 25 years, Sanvick has helped business owners navigate opportunities, challenges and everything in between. He brings extensive experience in commercial banking and a client-focused approach built around understanding each business from the inside out. Sanvick believes strong banking partnerships are built by anticipating client needs and delivering practical, timely solutions throughout every stage of a business’s journey.

Sanvick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Bethel University, with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Small Business Management. He is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He also serves on the finance committee for The Dwelling Place and is the incoming chair of the Lee Carlson Center for Mental Health & Wellbeing.
Jeff Hable to Lead West Metro Growth
Hable brings more than six years of commercial banking experience, along with an extensive background in business development. He is committed to helping business owners access the financing, guidance and relationships they need to grow. Hable combines lending and credit expertise with clear communication and a long-term perspective, helping business owners make informed decisions and navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with growth.
In addition to his work with BankCherokee, Hable serves as a SCORE small-business mentor and chairs the Lender Network at BankIn Minnesota, furthering his dedication to supporting local business owners and the broader business community. He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Spanish from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
