At BankCherokee, we’re always looking for ways to strengthen the banking experience we provide—making it more reliable, secure, and consistent for you. As part of that commitment, we’re transitioning to an enhanced processing model supported by our trusted core provider. While some of the technology behind the scenes is evolving, what won’t change is our commitment to you. You’ll continue working with the same team, receiving the same personalized service, and banking with people who know you and your needs.
As part of this transition, we’ll be completing a system upgrade beginning after business hours on Friday, May 8, 2026, and continuing throughout the weekend. Our team will be working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition, and we expect all services to be fully restored by Monday morning. If any systems become available sooner than planned, we’ll share updates here on our website.
Branch Closure Notice
As part of our system upgrade, the Grand Avenue branch will be closed on Saturday, May 9.
- No alternate branch will be available
- Digital banking services may be limited or unavailable
- Please plan ahead for any cash or coin needs
This temporary closure allows our teams to focus on a smooth and successful upgrade, helping ensure reliable service when we return to normal operations.
Services that may be temporarily unavailable
During the upgrade window, some services may be limited or unavailable, including:
- Digital and mobile banking
- Viewing balances and recent transactions
- Internal and external transfers
- Peer-to-peer money movement
- Bill Pay
- Mobile check deposit
- Debit card management
Services expected to remain available
You can expect to still be available:
- Debit card
- ATM withdrawals
- Checks written from your account
- Direct deposits and scheduled automatic payments (these will process normally once systems resume)
What to expect after the upgrade
Once the upgrade is complete, you may notice a few minor changes, such as:
- Slightly different transaction descriptions
- Changes in how pending transactions appear in Digital Banking
- Small differences in posting order
Your account numbers, debit cards, and digital banking login credentials will remain the same.
How to prepare
To minimize any inconvenience, we recommend completing important transfers or bill payments before Friday evening and ensuring you have access to any funds you may need over the weekend.
Our team will closely monitor the upgrade and will be ready to assist when services resume on Monday.
At BankCherokee, providing dependable service and building trusted relationships is at the heart of everything we do. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important upgrade.
