Job Opportunity
As the Marketing Manager at BankCherokee, you will be leading the brand through an exciting evolution into our next phase of growth. With new branding and several foundational marketing pieces in place, this role is best fit for a marketer who is ready for their next phase of growth. You will be leading strategy and planning, but also accountable for execution, coordination, and project management of all marketing activities. You thrive at bringing clarity to ambiguity, are comfortable collaborating across different teams and have the experience and confidence to communicate how marketing is impacting the business. You will be running the function and have access to work with freelancers as planned and approved by the BankCherokee’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Responsibilities
Manages the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, digital content, CRM segmentation, and event support. Maintains the company website, monitors social media engagement, ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels, and compliant resources.
Provides strategic insights and performance reporting based on campaign data, customer behavior, and feedback from internal teams. Offers marketing leadership that is responsive to evolving business needs, client expectations, and technology innovation.
Contributes to business development by meeting with sales and lending teams to understand what’s working and what’s not. Applies critical thinking to translate those insights into actionable marketing plans that drive engagement, retention, and growth aligned with company values, core focus, goals, and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, Ideally 5-7 in related field, preferred banking or financial services industry. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, strong design and writing skills, experience with current design programs, familiarity with CRM and customer segmentation strategies.
