What do you do at BankCherokee?
Operations Department: Delivery Channel Processor. I work behind the scenes with a team of people to make sure things are running as they should be.

How many years have you been in banking?
Since 2012 when I joined BankCherokee. I started as a Teller, moved to Personal Banking, and am now in the Operations department.

Why do you enjoy working at BankCherokee?
I love the people I work with every day and being able to use what I’ve learned to help others resolve their banking issues. I enjoy the sense of community that BankCherokee has, both externally through different outreach activities, but also internally through the culture we all have cultivated as employees.

What is your specialty at BankCherokee?
Retail oriented work. Using what I’ve learned from different positions and applying them to my current role. Not to mention my time as a Teller means I can count money at lightning speed and guess how much is in a pile just by looking at it.

What was your best vacation ever?
Going to Bowstring Shores Resort in northern Minnesota. My family has gone every year since I was a kid and it is one of my favorite places. Board games, campfires, and reading by the lake is my kind of vacation.

The last book I read was…
Bouncing between The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher a.k.a Princess Leia and 11.22.63 by Stephen King. I love to read.

Do you have any pets?
I have two pet cats named Oliver and Arlo. One loves to go for walks outside and destroy everything I own, and the other one enjoys cuddling and eating all of the food he can find.

What band or music do you really enjoy?
Chevelle is my all-time favorite band, but you’ll find me listening to anything from Ariana Grande to instrumental movie scores.
